In Memory Of
This page is in memory of:
Robert Graham Lee, Sr.
Mom, Mary Lou (Bansbach) and Dad were married 56 years, and had ten children: Bob, Jim, Tom, Mary, Carol, Jane, John, Ed, Ellen, and Joan.
Dad was born on February 18, 1924 and died on October 31, 2003. Dad donated his body for organ transplant and science so that others might improve the quality of their lives. His cremated remains were interned at the Springfield National Cemetery, Springfield, Missouri on February 18, 2004.
Dad was proud that all his children believe, as he did, that everyone deserves to be treated with dignity, respect, and kindness. Dad didn't tolerate mendacity very well.
Dad had a love of life and that love carried over to his adventures on the original Haven Lee Farm: 170 acres near Halltown, Missouri.
From horses to cows, add the chickens and pigs, a road that went through the creek, a mini motorcycle, a big tractor, an even bigger bull, and driving the jeep through the pond - all bring laughter and even sorrow reflecting on those events on a "gentleman's farm". I wish I could find the picture of Dad baling hay, sitting up on that "huge" tractor in his suit and tie.
Robert G. Lee was a good husband, a good father, and a good friend. He lives on in our memories during the daily operations here on the farm.
